MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT (permanent, full-time)

As a member of the team, the Receptionist/Administrative support person will provide administrative support to the Inter-professional team. This is a front line position within the organization that includes, welcoming clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and processing associated documents.  This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week with competitive salary and benefits including extended health benefits and HOOP.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in from an Office/Business Administrative or Medical Secretary program
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position in a health care organization-preferably primary care
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability of manage multiple priorities with a keen sense of organization
  • Excellent information technology skills including working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience working with a patient/client data base system for booking, billing, scheduling, and retrieving information. Practice Solutions experience preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in availability for work hours will be required
  • Flexibility to work from both Cambridge and Kitchener site
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and respect sensitive information
